St Josephs RC Primary School is a Catholic Primary School for children aged 4 to 11. We have an onsite Governor Led Nursery for 3 and 4 year olds. We currently have 215 wonderful children and a beautiful building with excellent facilities.
We now need new talent to join our Early Years Team for the following position.
Teaching Assistant - Permanent
26.67 hours per week – Monday to Friday – Term Time only plus TED days
The Governors of St Josephs RC Primary School are seeking to appoint a friendly and hardworking Teaching Assistant.

We are looking to appoint a caring, committed and enthusiastic Assistant to support learning throughout our school. Experience of working in a school environment would be preferable but is not essential. The role requires an enormous amount of flexibility and willingness to undertake a range of duties such as classroom support, assisting with weekly Forest School and Outdoor Learning Classes. This is an excellent chance for anyone with the above enthusiasm and caring nature to join our team. Salary (min. and max.) - £17,364.00 - £18,426.00 FTE
Hours - 30.00 hours per week Monday to Friday to include 30 minute lunch duty

Due to the current post holder leaving in June, we are looking for a new member of our friendly, hard working team.
We require, from June 2019, a practical and cheerful, well-motivated person. Duties will include premises management, maintenance, security of the buildings and site, storage of cleaning materials, ensuring inside and outside environment are well maintained and meet Health and Safety requirements. Hours by arrangement with the Head Teacher but must involve opening the school by 7.30m at the latest.
The Governing Body is committed to the safeguarding of children and young people and all offers of employment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
20 hours per week 07:15 – 09:30 M,T,W,Th, F & 16:00 – 18:00 M, T, W & Th & 15:00 – 17:00 F plus evening Lettings (currently a Monday and Thursday)
Salary: £18,795 - £19,171 per annum pro rata
